"The amount of life you feel is directly proportionate to your willingness to face the fears that threaten your dreams."
PURPOSE - PSYCHE - MYTH
Who is this Archetype?
The Daredevil’s life is an archetypal hero’s journey against overwhelming odds. He won’t allow anyone to stop him from finding and living his purpose. This archetype has learned to embrace struggle and enjoy the challenge. He is always ready to take any risks in order to find meaning in life.
Aware that the current incarnation isn’t forever, he embarks on any endeavor that makes him feel more alive. Living to the fullest requires great courage and total commitment, the Daredevil feels enriched when living life on the edge. He is taking the risk not only to look but to actually leap into the dark. He is ready to feel the obscurity and allow its penetration until there is no separation and no fear.
The Daredevil has a close relationship to the Nourisher (27). She tempers him and makes sure that the body is nurtured and cared for even when he jumps into the abyss to discover more about life and himself. The Daredevil shows the Nourisher that the darkness is fertile. With him, she has learned to let go of some of her need for comfort and stability. While the Daredevil shows her the potential of sexual transmutation in the depth of scorpionic waters, the Nourisher opens the Daredevils heart through her sensuality and venusian earthiness.
The Daredevil also has a close relationship to the Warrior (38) and when they have a joint purpose there is nothing that can stop them. The Warrior has the fuel to fight for a cause and the Daredevil infuses the sense of meaning. Together they instinctively know what is worth fighting for and what is not.
When these two archetypes work as a team with the Intuitive (57), the Black Panther (34), the Natural (10) and the Tranquil (20) the otherwise very individual pursuits of these four archetypes suddenly take on a collective and synergistic quality. As a team, they can face and survive any situation through their joint qualities of awareness, power, intuition, correct behavior, perseverance, and purpose.
Together with the Guardian (32), the Daredevil is the Gatekeeper to the Codon Ring of Illusion. This codon ring contains the codes to break through our deepest fears and even show us that they aren't real. What if, in the bigger perspective, failure and death don’t exist?
The Daredevil shows us that the doorway to this realization lies in the darkest, deepest corner of the shadow. His nature is courageous, shamanic and transformational. He is very clear —THROUGH is the only way—bypassing doesn’t exist. Confronted by the inner demon, the separate self begins to dissolve into the archetype itself. As Richard Rudd says: Evil is simply everything about life that has not yet been accepted and embraced.
The Daredevil, the Guardian, and the Warrior honor this journey of continuous self-discovery and letting go of the parts of the ego that don’t serve anymore. What dies in the process are the shadows of Purposelessness, Struggle and Fear of Failure.
The Daredevil knows everything within the psyche that humans do not wish to accept, right down to the core fear of non-existence. (In the lower frequency the Daredevil, the Warrior and the Guardian struggle without real purpose to not have to face this deepest fear.) The Daredevil shows us that only as we integrate each of these dark aspects of our inner being can the true light come through.
He requires that we surrender into our own deepest fears, and in dying, we are reborn as who we really are. Through this surrender to the mystery of life, the Daredevil experiences totality. Death is nothing to be afraid of. There is only immortality when we live fully in the now, moment by moment.

"Evil is simply everything about life that has not yet been accepted and embraced."
"Whatever role you are playing in the game of life—lover, villain, master, disciple or seeker—as long as your commitment is total, you will discover a mysterious detachment running beneath the role itself, and this detachment is the reward for your courageous totality."

EMBRACE your shadows. Sometimes our shadows just need attention and love to be transformed. An embrace is a hug. We pull it in; we do not push away. Hug until it blends and transforms inside of you, revealing the GIFT within. The gift is then RELEASED within you and outside of you. You EMBODY the Siddhi when this essence vibrates through your whole being.

“The mind cannot really grasp what immortality means. True immortality is actually the cessation of time altogether."
To turn away from your fears is to live a lacklustre existence with no deeply felt sense of purpose. Your life may be glamorous and successful or dull and mundane, but it has no center. You often try hard to appear happy and easy-going, even to yourself, but to anyone who knows their own dark side, you can’t hide yours. If you don’t face your own demons, you will live a half-life. You may pretend to be happy or evolved, but you lack the depth and deep understanding of those who have dared to look into the deep, dark mirrors of their souls.
You react to the fear that they feel by transforming your fear into activity. This results in rash and impetuous acts that temporarily cloak the fear. You are addicted to this risk-taking pattern and live your life at the extreme—at such a fast and unpredictable pace that you cannot stop and examine the fear that is driving you. You will try anything and everything to give you a sense of purpose, but you cannot stop moving. Your most terrifying space is your own inner silence and stillness.
"True purpose is found in focusing yourself one hundred percent to every moment, rather than focusing on any kind of achievement."
