YOGA CHALLENGE
Physiology: Adrenals
Amino Acid: Arginine
Chakra: Root
One of the strongest hormones in our bodies is Cortisol. It is sometimes referred to as the stress hormone.
If you have 38 in your chart or if it is in Transit you may want to be careful of excessive exercise that really gets your "Fight or Flight" response activated.
Running and excessive cardio exercise can trigger that response.
This is not medical advice, so seek a professional if you are experiencing adrenal fatigue or in true fight or flight response.
Always listen and honor your body and feel in what is correct for you.
LOWER YOUR CORTISOL WITH YOGA

LEGS UP THE WALL
(Viparita Karani)
Anytime time you can raise your legs above your heart, it helps to lower your Cortisol. 10-15 minutes in this yoga pose is a GAME CHANGER.

MODIFICATION: BUTTERFLY POSE
(Baddha Konasana)
You can modify into a "Butterfly Pose" to switch it up if your body is telling you it is too uncomfortable. You should not feel any pain. This pose is very balancing to several systems in your body.
You may struggle at first to find a empty space in your house to do it...you may struggle to get into the position...but if you persevere it will totally be worth it!
KEY: If you pick a wall space by a corner it will be easiest!
HONOR your body everyday in this way.
