EXPECTATION - DETACHMENT - CELEBRATION
WHO IS THIS ARCHETYPE?
This archetype is the reader and the writer of its own story. The Nomad is a traveller and it knows that every step it takes in life is its way of writing forward into its own story. It just keeps travelling - pausing to take in life and then taking off to a new place and cycle. The Nomad is writing its story with every step, every decision, moment by moment and yet it never gets to read that narrative ahead of any given step. The Nomad writes and reads at the same exact time.
This Archetype has the imperative to always finish what it has begun. Once the Nomad begins its quest it continues onward until it reaches its completion. However, the end is not the goal. It is simply fact. The end will come and the destination will be reached. That is certain. But the focus is moreso on the journey than the destination. And the journey is only taken one step at a time. There are no mistakes or wrong turns. There are no successes or failures. There is only joy in the journey. The destination is not known or held on to. The celebration happens between the beginnings and endings. The Nomad does not have expectations about where it is going or how it will get there. It is simply present to the current step forward. It doesn't ruminate on the future or stay stuck in the past. It keeps evolving through cycles because that is the Nomad’s purpose.
The Nomad doesn't collect or hold onto anything. It gives its experiences and accumulations freely. It knows it needs nothing where it is going. The journey is its prize. This archetype expands rich experiences that can be shared generously with everyone. The Universe is so generous once we understand its natural laws. This Archetype has realized that giving is more important than receiving — and the sure path to increase and reward.
This archetype has learned to not be stuck in never ending cycles. It knows the importance of allowing things to come to a natural conclusion, rather than force a premature ending or cling to something that is already dead. The Nomad is attuned to the symphonic movement in and out of cycles. This is its dance. This is its pleasure. It surrenders to the flow of life. Waxing and waning, ebbing and flowing, birthing and dying. This Nomad invites us to not get attached to any certain cycle of life or outcome. It inspires us to surrender to our life and accept our nature. Trust in life. Engage in life. Be lived by it. This is the truth of the Nomad.

Acceptance and Detachment
You simply do not want things to end, so you do anything to keep everything the way it is. This is a deeply rooted fear of change. Obviously, everything in life does come to an end in order that something new can be born. There are many ways in which you can resist change — through trying to remain young, through not allowing you loved ones to go their own way, through clinging in some way to the past. However, this clinging actually makes you gradually wither away. When you don’t embrace change and allow things to die and decay naturally you prevent life from renewing itself, thus sapping your own healthy energy and vigor.
From the Gene Keys
You try to avoid disappointment by not really making any form of commitment in the first place. You move from one thing to another without allowing the natural life cycles to complete themselves. The dilemma is that you continually get stuck in the same old patterns. By breaking a cycle before it reaches a natural conclusion, you simply have to begin the same cycle again in a different form. No matter what you do to escape the negative patterns, they keep reappearing in your life. This can be a disaster in relationships and in finances. You probably have a deep-seated inability to follow through with things.

Questions to Consider:
In what area of your life are you resisting change?
How have your expectations created suffering for you?
How important is it to meet other people's expectations of you?
Do you have expectations of others?
What are you waiting for?
What doors do you see opening?
What do you need to let go or let die?
Have you prematurely abandoned a project, relationship or experience?

Expectation – Detachment – Celebration
Victim of your expectations
Shadow: Waiting at the Expectation Station (Expectation)
"Whether your expectation is optimistic or pessimistic, it narrows your field of vision and closes down the limitless potential that exists in each present moment."
Gift: The Reader and the Writer (Detachment)
"Detachment represents the process of letting go of control over your life, physically, mentally and emotionally. "
Siddhi: The Punch Line (Celebration)
"Celebration is the direct manifestation of true awakening."
EMBRACE your shadows. Sometimes our shadows just need attention and love to be transformed. An embrace is a hug. We pull it in; we do not push away. Hug until it blends and transforms inside of you revealing the GIFT within. The gift is then RELEASED inside you and out of you. You EMBODY the Siddhi when this essence vibrates through your whole being.
