"Humanity is a collective body united through its bloodlines in a common ancestry."

Who is this Archetype?

With the qualities of natural leadership and influence, this archetype is a voice that says: "I have." The Goodwill is an honest allocator--spender and receiver--of the resources; because of this, abundance flows. With prosperity for the community as this archetype’s focus, its main skills of financial wisdom, education, and administration benefit all.

The Goodwill has the quality of a benevolent tribal leader who represents the voice of the community and gives the final seal of approval to new rules and law. It oversees the wealth and well-being of the community. This archetype is here to educate others in how to come together in more efficient ways for the benefit of all, especially future generations.

This archetype is embracing the material plane fully. It gathers the tribe together and inspires the tribe to work or rest, and it determines the work or sacrifices necessary to sustain resources. The Goodwill strikes the balance between what demands the best investments and what can wait or be ignored. Profitability is never the main focus. The Goodwill is far beyond the energy of competition. Instead it inspires synergy and communion in every act and decision.

This archetype asks you to contemplate what rules your life and how you can step into more integrity and alignment with higher values.

The Goodwill always needs a Manager (archetype 21) to manage their land/community, as they prefer to focus on the big picture and direction. It invites other people to work for it, run the business or contribute to managing community projects.

We are Hub Trees

We can liken The Goodwill archetype to the Hub Tree or The Mother Tree. In forests we see some trees that are larger than others and it is their responsibility to provide excess resources to the other trees in the community so that the collective can thrive together. It is said that certain tree groves, like Aspens, are actually one large organism instead of hundreds of individual trees. With that being said, if one tree dies it can compromise the integrity of the rest, so sharing is paramount to the survival and propagation of the species.

Hub trees use networks of mycelium, fungal threads, to communicate and send the excess resources to other trees. There is synergy and a symbiotic relationship between the fungi and the trees.

It is through the trading of carbon and nutrients within the mycorrhizal network that the hub trees are able to send nutrients to the young saplings growing in the understory. A single hub tree can be connected to hundreds of other trees. To destroy a hub tree would be to compromise the integrity of the entire forest. There is a tipping point within a forest, which is why deforestation is a big problem.

The hub tree not only sends nutrients out, but also wisdom. It shares everything with its colony. This is much like the Goodwill archetype. It is like a central hub toward which everyone gravitates. It has the resources and shares them freely for the benefit and survival of the community.

Like the hub tree, this archetype communicates with its community.  Communication is critical.  More importantly, if motivation is not grounded in goodwill, then this archetype will aim to dominate and compete against everyone else and that does not create a thriving or diverse forest.

Trees may compete for space, but they also send nutrients and communicate information to trees outside of their species. They work together in synergy to uphold a thriving forest. This is the purpose of the Goodwill archetype and why hub trees are such an appropriate real life example.

Be the hub tree.

Rulership, Possession, Generosity, Benevolence

Internal Motivator:

The wellbeing of the community

Positive Attributes:

Creates prosperity

Achilles Heel:

People may react to its power

Wants to have the last word

Gene Key Patterns:

Victim of Poverty Consciousness

Dilemma: Insecurity

Repressive Nature:

You allow your choices and spirits to be dominated by those higher than yourself within the hierarchy. Such timidity compromises freedom for the sake of not rocking the boat.

From the Gene Keys

Reactive Nature:

You are likely to assume a position of power over others and make sure that they remain timid in order to maintain control. You lead to make sure what you want will happen.

From the Gene Keys

Questions to Consider:

Where do you live with integrity?

Where are you too timid and afraid to speak up?

In what areas of your life or with what people does insecurity still show up?

Are you aware of falling into poverty consciousness?

Where do you choose control?

Where does your life flow?

Do you accumulate material things to feel more calm?

What areas of your life would benefit from balance?

How does dominance show up in your life? Are you most often the dominator or the dominated?

Where in your life do you need to assume a leadership role?

What kind of leader are you naturally?

Where do you need to let go of your creation and allow it to evolve?

Do you believe in goodwill?

What does synergistic collaboration mean to you?

Who would you want to co-create with?

Phone Backgrounds

EMBRACE your shadows. Sometimes our shadows just need attention and love to be transformed. An embrace is a hug. We pull it in; we do not push away. Hug until it blends and transforms inside of you, revealing the GIFT within. The gift is then RELEASED within you and outside of you. You EMBODY the Siddhi when this essence vibrates through your whole being.
