WHO IS THIS ARCHETYPE?

This Perceiver (18) is logical, observing, and discerning. The Perceiver naturally senses when a pattern is flawed and has the gift of making improvements. The Perceiver enjoys discovering, naming and challenging what needs correcting. There is not much thinking in this process—it’s simply this archetype’s intuitive understanding that leads to a tireless service to the vision of perfection.

Underneath his dissatisfaction lies a deep concern for human rights, and for what will keep society healthy and in balance. The Perceiver knows how to clean out what isn’t healthy, and  restore vitality to something that has been corrupted.

The Perceiver views life through a variety of lenses. He knows that when he holds on tightly to his own opinions and judgments, it makes him unable to see things from a wider perspective and thus makes him unable to correct a situation for the highest good of all. The Discoverer (17) archetype provides this higher vantage point. Together they can assess a situation and decide what the best course of action is moving forward.

A close relationship is forged between the Perceiver and the Vital (58). They are both idealistic and have the vision of a world where people are happy, healthy, and empowered. They have made this vision their life mission. While the Vital focuses more on the aspect of the body and finding joy in everyday life, the Perceiver is more concerned about emotional and mental wellbeing.

The Perceiver is passionate about psychology, especially developmental psychology, and knows all about our development from birth until the age of 21, divided in three 7-year cycles we learn about in the Venus Sequence. He loves assisting parents in taking full responsibility for their own childhoods, so they can guide their own children to reach true adulthood through role modeling.

Part of this process is about confronting their own parental conditioning, and to learn to parent and hold their own inner child, without reacting to judgements or self-judgements. He helps adults understand what made them the way they are in order to release the aspects of conditioning that do not belong to them.

The essence of the Perceiver’s message is that adults can undo damaging patterns from childhood and become whole again. Becoming whole means to live beyond fragmentation. To stay intact is to stay in integrity. This is a state where a person’s body, emotions, thoughts and spirit are in harmony and allow the person to continuously evolve to a higher frequency.

The Perceiver has learned to not give his advice when someone isn’t open or ready for it. Healing can’t be pushed, it can only be chosen. He is a role model who walks his own talk and demonstrates what it is to live in integrity. As he shows up in this way, so do others to learn from him.

It takes willingness and courage to uncover the wounds from the past and transcend false beliefs that no longer serve and in this The Perceiver is a true ally to anyone that is committed to the process of becoming whole. As a fully healed adult, his purpose is to help others complete their childhoods, so they can finally enjoy their lives and pass on their integrity to their own children.

His purpose is to view himself and others as their highest self and holds himself and others to that gold standard. The Perceiver holds space for others to rise to their highest potential while simultaneously remaining detached from the expectation. He knows potential is not always reality. The Perceiver never judges from his mind but instead perceives from his heart.
