WHO IS THIS ARCHETYPE?
The Inventor is an ingenious and masterful individual thinker. He is auditory and screens all the new thoughts that come through the Mystic (61), selecting what is useful and potentially inspiring for others. The Inventor has the ability to find what truly works in the knowingness of the Mystic (61) and creates focus in that direction.
The Inventor goes over things repeatedly, often seeking to rationalize them. Every step of expansion is followed by a contraction in a mutative process that can feel like two steps forward and one back. This process can lead to melancholy as with all the archetypes that have strong individuality. Through focus, intention, and knowing how to let go of mutations that don’t serve, this process creates a powerful energy for moving forward. The inventions of this archetype have the potential for great impact in the world.
The inventor has a close relationship to the Gridworker (44) who attracts allies on the same soul fractal to bring the Inventor’s creations out in the world through teamwork and synergy.
The Inventor consciously goes from the activity of the mind into silence and mindfulness. He has learned to befriend his intense mind and let go of worry even if something isn’t resolved. When he lets his mind transform organically, without attempting to control it, the resolution appears on its own. It comes through in a moment of silence as a powerful aha. This way, the inventor relaxes and surrenders into the great mystery until it suddenly and unexpectedly reveals itself to him through a process of deep insight.
The Inventor teaches us that the key lies in relaxation, the key to finding the magic gaps and experiencing the truth directly—not through the mind but through our innermost being. With a relaxed body and mind, the Inventor embraces the gaps in awareness. He doesn’t push anxiety away or try to fill in the holes. Through silence and acceptance, emptiness and uncertainty become his allies.
