WHO IS THIS ARCHETYPE?

Embodying the qualities of leadership and influence with skills in finances, education, and administration, Goodwill is the foundation of communal prosperity. He oversees the wealth and well-being of the community and educates his tribe on how to come together in more efficient ways for the benefit of all.

Embracing the material plane fully, Goodwill is an honest allocator–spender and receiver–of the resources of his community. He inspires everyone to work or rest, determining the work or sacrifices necessary to sustain resources. He strikes the balance between what requires investment and what can wait or be ignored.

In his community or business, profitability is never the main focus. The frequency set by this archetype is far beyond the energy of competition and self serving agendas. Instead Goodwill inspires synergy and communion in every act and decision.

Goodwill gathers people he can trust and gives them their freedom to pursue their gifts without interference. Goodwill’s right hand is the Manager (21) who manages their land/community while Goodwill focuses on the big picture and direction, and their close relationship benefits all. It’s through versatility and synergy, not through competition, that Goodwill and the Enthusiast (16) create geometry for long lasting prosperity.

Goodwill also has a relationship to the Gridworker (44) who creates synarchy in any group of people of which he is part. They both stand for a new kind of teamwork where everyone is doing what they are best at contributing to the success of the whole. They love the magic when their people work in communion as one united organism. The Hypnotist (26) is helping these two archetypes to convey any message that needs to be transmitted to the people.

Goodwill also represents the voice of the community and gives the final seal of approval to new rules and law. He has much in common with the Emperor card in Tarot. Goodwill asks us to contemplate what rules our life and how we can step into more integrity and alignment with higher values.
